Peak Performance was started and continues to be primarily run by proprietor Steve Whitear, the business opened in 1997 following Steve's retirement from a racing career going back to the mid 1980's.

Steve's knowledge of bike tuning and in particular his specialty in suspension was gained during many years on track both racing and working as an intructor for trackday organisors. He furthered his knowledge and experience by working directly with K-tech installing their products in addition to helping other racers prepare their bikes.

Peak Performance has been built up based on Steve's commitment to providing a highly personal service with a friendly, family style atmosphere. To that end he deals with all customers personally, should he not be able to take your call there is an answering service available.
